- Highly effective at grounding the body.
- EMF shielding against high frequency EMFs.
- Strong anti-bacterial properties.
While grounding the body in any way greatly reduces the effects of low frequency EMFs (such as from mains electricity and domestic appliances), the continuous silver of the SoftSilver™ products means that they also block high frequency EMFs (such as WiFi and 5G) much more effectively than other grounding products.
Longevity is also significantly improved compared with a conventional earthing/grounding sheet. The SoftSilver™ sheets will remain effective at least twice as long given the same usage and care (see below for recommended washing and care instructions).
Because of the very high conductivity, the SoftSilver™ sheets can provide an excellent grounding connection even through a covering sheet. This allows the use of a more cost-effective, smaller size sheet. Using under a covering sheet will also further improve the longevity.
Alternatively it can be used as a bottom sheet or top sheet with direct body contact, wrapped around the whole body, or used to treat a specific area of the body.
See the sizing table for further suggested uses.
The product set includes everything you need for use: the SoftSilver™ sheet, a 4.6m (15ft) connection cord, and your choice of Earth connection.
Washing and care instructions
Please note: Due to the nature of silver, the SoftSilver™ products may show some discolouration after long-term use and washing. This does not affect the functionality of the product. We cannot accept returns because of discolouration of the silver as this is simply the nature of the material.
It is good to wash your grounding product. It will not be harmed by washing, in fact it is beneficial. Washing strips body sweat and natural skin oils from the silver keeping it conductive.
Wash every week or two
Wash in a washing machine with warm water (40°C / 105°F)
Use a liquid laundry detergent (this detergent is our specific recommendation)
Line dry or dry in a dryer on low (up to 65°C / 150°F)
Can be ironed on a low heat if desired
Don't wash with bleach
Don't wash with fabric softeners
Don't use whitening detergents, oxi-detergents
Don't use detergents with strong fragrances (either chemical or essential oil based)
Don't use dryer sheet fabric softeners
Don't dry clean
Bleach, lotions and oils can tarnish the silver rendering it non-conductive. Fabric softener builds up on the silver and will eventually ruin its conductive properties. Please also check/clean the detergent drawer of your washing machine for residues of other detergents, since many detergents (particularly powders) contain whitening agents which will harm the silver, even in small quantities.
It is advised to wait one hour to use the product after applying oils or lotions to the skin.
Connection plug for UK and Ireland
The UK type connection plug is also suitable for use in Bahrain, Bangladesh, Botswana, Brunei, Cyprus, Ghana, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Iraq, Ireland, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Macau, Malawi, Malaysia, Malta, Mauritius, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, UAE, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Connection plug for Europe
The European type connection plug is suitable for use in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy ('Schuko' type sockets), Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and Uruguay.
Note that this connection plug is not suitable for Denmark.
Connection plug for Switzerland, Italy, Brazil
Connection plug suitable for outlet types J, L and N. This covers Brazil, Chile, Italy, Liechtenstein, South Africa (new type), Switzerland and Uruguay. Can also be used in other European countries, by removing the type J/L/N adapter.
If you have any doubt about whether your mains system is properly earthed, we advise using a socket tester to check. Use the European socket tester in conjunction with this connection plug.
Connection plug for Denmark
Connection plug for use in Denmark.
Connection plug for India
Suitable for type D sockets.
Connection plug for South Africa
Suitable for type M sockets.
If you have any doubt about whether your mains system is properly earthed, we advise using a socket tester to check. Use the European socket tester in conjunction with the connection plug for South Africa.
Connection plug for Australasia
The Australasian type connection plug is suitable for use in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Argentina and Papua New Guinea.
Connection plug for Israel
Suitable for type H sockets.
Connection for North America
The supplied cord fits directly into the 'Ground' pin of a North American type socket, used in Canada, the United States and Mexico. It can also be used in Central America, the Caribbean, northern South America (Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and parts of Brazil), Japan, Taiwan and Saudi Arabia.
Since it is not uncommon for sockets of this type to be missing an Earth connection, this connection option includes a socket tester to verify correct socket wiring. You only need 1 tester per household, so you can choose the "without connection plug" option if you order additional products.
Note that not all outlet sockets of this type have a 3rd pin for Ground. Sockets with only 2 pins cannot be used for grounding, and so a grounding rod must be used instead.
Worldwide adapter set
The worldwide adapter set is suitable for use in most countries around the world. It covers the following socket types:
UK: Bahrain, Bangladesh, Botswana, Brunei, Cyprus, Ghana, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Iraq, Ireland, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Macau, Malawi, Malaysia, Malta, Mauritius, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, UAE, Uganda, United Kingdom, Yemen, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
US: United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, northern South America (Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and parts of Brazil), Japan, Taiwan and Saudi Arabia.
Europe: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and Uruguay.

If you have any doubt about whether your mains system is properly earthed, and especially when travelling, we advise using a socket tester to check. The Socket tester (Europe) can be used with this adapter set to test any socket.
Grounding rod kit
If you don't have a properly earthed mains outlet (for example some European houses or a pre-1960s house in the United States), then you can instead use a grounding rod kit to make a connection directly with the ground outside.
The kit consists of a 0.3m (1ft) stainless steel rod with a 12m (40ft) cord. The rod is pushed into the ground outside, which makes a good electrical connection to the Earth. The cord is only 2mm in diameter so it can usually be run through the edge of a window frame with the window closed.
